Life sometimes knocks us around and our brilliant bodies and minds do their best to keep us safe. They create triggers, firewalls and alerts to protect us so that we don’t experience harm again. 

But sometimes these mechanisms go into overdrive. They get switched on when they’re not needed, and can get stuck - always on in the background, running the show. 

Anxiety is the emotion of the moment. It’s something that pretty much everyone I know is experiencing right now in one form or another.  

Nowadays, we don’t even need to be in a space where there’s a physical threat, we just need to open a browser or an app, read an article or worse a comments thread and KERPOW anxiety hits...

A cascade of physical and psychological effects can follow - a rise of energy towards the upper parts of the body, heart palpitations, shortening of the breath, a bombardment of anxious thoughts and feelings of dread. 

Anxiety can make you feel out of control, hopeless and out of sync with the present moment. 

But the good news, the really great news, is there are resources that can help. And I’m thrilled to be able to share them with you.

Despite the title - this workshop isn’t about emotion bashing. There’s nothing wrong with you or your anxiety. 

The goal is to be able to neutralise the triggers that create an unwanted state of being. To create space so that you can return to feeling grounded, clear-eyed and embodied. 

So that you can take the next right action.
